Project Description: E-21 removed six underground storage tanks containing paint-related solvents including methylene chloride, toluene, methanol, acetone, and lacquer thinner. Removal of the tanks, along with a large quantity of impacted soils, was performed by E-21 to expedite groundwater clean-up. Characterization of groundwater at the site and natural attenuation of existing contaminants are currently being evaluated at this site. E-21 has been working with the owner and the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to complete the site clean-up.
