Environmental
site assessments
E-21 Engineering, Inc. personnel have conducted over one hundred
Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Site properties have ranged
from small undeveloped single parcels to large multiple parcels
with extensive heavy industrial manufacturing facilities. These
services have been performed for various entities, including lending
institutions, insurance companies, Federal, State and County agencies,
developers, major corporations, other engineering consulting firms,
construction firms, law firms, real estate agents and private individuals.
We are currently using the latest ASTM Standard Guide for Phase
I Environmental Property Assessments. This standard provides the
due-diligence effort required in environmental site assessments
for property transactions. Our environmental site assessments for
property transactions are prepared in general accordance with the
recently updated standard.
E-21 can provide time and cost effective Phase II contaminant
investigations through the implementation of a tiered investigative
approach. This method utilizes a single-step approach using smaller-scale
investigative tools to initially identify the presence of contamination.
If contamination is identified a more thorough investigation is
undertaken to adequately quantify the levels and vertical and horizontal
extent. Once established, economic and feasible measures can be
evaluated for site remediation. The tiered approach allows for the
timely and cost effective evaluation of contaminant releases.
